‘Kootra’ is a well known gamer and streamer, who founded The Creatures Twitch Channel. While streaming last night Jordan Mathewson, aka Kootra, got to experience a little more of his video game than he would have liked thanks to a gaming rival @Screwpain. Screwpain called the Littleton Colorado Police station claiming that Kootra,
“‘… shot two co-workers, held others hostage, and threatened to shoot them. He stated that if the officers entered he would shoot them as well,’ the Littleton Police Department said in a statement given Wednesday afternoon.”
Effectively shutting down several schools in the area and employees from near by office building were evacuated also. Why are the police reacting so heavily? Well, if you remember back to 15 years ago this is the same town where teenagers Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold opened fire in Columbine high school, Killing 13 people. I would think that they have to take EVERY threat very seriously after being the center point of all of America during Columbine. This all shows a growing trend right now of calling in fake 911 calls to online rivals just to mess with their real life. Which is a pointless and cowardly thing to do. Not to mention against the law! Screwpain tweeted that he was currently in the custody of the FBI after his prank was found out. Seems like he had a worse night than Kootra after all!
Kootra and some of the Employees at The Creatures were soon released and sent on their way, while no word yet on where Screwpain is and if he has been released yet.
You can watch the full video here! To hear the conversation between Kootra and the Police you’ll have to turn your volume up pretty high, but make sure your off voice comms first or you may end up throwing you headset off after someone talks! lol
