Yes Emerald Empire is back in Archeage after a small time away due to holidays and other stuff. If you are on the OLLO server come see us and join up if you like or just hang out and have some fun. We are gearing up for the new updates that are coming soon.
For the sake of sci-fi, a new MMORPG was announced today by the makers of MechWarrior online. Although I am not a fan of MWO or Piranha , my love of sci-fi oriented games told me to post this up for everyone to see.
“Transverse features detailed ship and station construction, massive solar-system-wide player events and real-time, physics-based combat”
For all our members, Closed Beta and Open Beta have been a blast for me and and other members of EE. Launch is coming and with that comes a overview of Open Beta and future content of Archeage.
“Join Lead Producer Victoria “FireCait” Voss, Associate Producer Amanda “Amary” Fry, and Senior Community Relations Manager Evan “Scapes” Berman on the Trion Worlds Twitch channel for a post-Open Beta livestream. We’ll also showcase some of the great videos that were captured during Open Beta ”
JUST announced ArcheAge will be released on September 16th the four day head start is September 12th and Open Beta starts Thursday!! There is also a rumor going around if you bought a pack your getting a little something more when the game comes out than previously stated!! ^^
As many of you may have heard by now there was a rumor floating around about Trion’s user accounts being hacked to steal customer’s credit card information. Good new came our way through an announcement made by the Community Manager Scapes on ArcheAge’s forums:
To our Alpha and Beta testers, Let us start by saying this very clearly: Trion Worlds’ security has not been compromised in any way. There has been absolutely no breach in Trion’s servers. What happened in the last few hours is sadly nothing new: every day, bots obtain user credentials from various unprotected sites around the Internet, build lists of login and passwords, and try them on Trion’s servers (along with many other sites). If players consistently use simple or repeated passwords across different online services, these bots may get access to their accounts. Because of the current momentum around ArcheAge, hundreds of millions of such attempts were made from well over a million different IP addresses in the last few weeks, only a fraction of which ended up being successful today. The team has already started providing refunds and all players affected by fraudulent charges will be automatically refunded within the next few hours today.
>Whew< Good to know! Nothing more seems to be coming from Trion or ArcheAge not this matter and both of their twitter and Facebook accounts remain quite on the issue. If you do find your rent money gone due to a founders pack being bought with out your knowledge You can contact Trion here @ https://support.trionworlds.com/ Anyone who is worried about their accounts should change their passwords (especially if you use the same User Name and Password set up across multiple games and forums). For added security Glyph, Trion’s version of Steam, also offer a Mobile Authenticator @ Mobile Authentication.
For now though you can rest easy knowing your information wasn’t really stolen and Archage’s database hasn’t been compromised. Just a bunch of bots randomly throwing User Name and password registrations that they had grabbed from some unknown location hoping that one will stick. On a side not though this is why most gamer’s simply use a third party like Paypal to buy their gaming needs. No stored credit card information floating through the inter web!

Last years E3 conference saw the dramatic reveal of Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s The Division. Hit with development issues and unrealistic release date in 2014, news and announcements surrounding this anticipated title dwindled. At Gamescom this year, Ubisoft gave a closer look at how the development is coming.
Also the dev team gave a nice update about the progress of the game on their official website.
Today we announced that Tom Clancy’s The Division will be available in 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don’t want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it’s ready.
We want to thank you again for the exceptional ongoing support. Community is at the heart of what we are doing and we’re very much designing the game with you in mind, so your involvement means a lot to us.
The production is getting stronger every day and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up to at this year’s E3.
Recently Black Desert completed its second closed beta event in April and is about to enter its third beta event later on this month. I wanted to show some highlights of Black Desert and why we should be paying attention to this title. So what is Black Desert ? Black Desert is a an upcoming sandbox-oriented, free 2 play, massively multiplayer online role-playing, being developed by Korean based Pearl Abyss. Black Desert was originally announced in late 2012 but has been in development since 2010, with closed beta starting in late October, 2013. With so much buzz surrounding this title, many people here in the states have been asking if this game would be published in North America. On Jul 24th, Black Desert Korean publisher Daum, announced it will also be publishing Black Desert in North America and Europe. With Black Desert being 80% completed for the Korean version and translation for the English version already in the works, a possible alpha or beta could be right around the corner.
Now I know we have been through the trial and tribulations of DayZ and RUST and have had our eyes glancing over to Sony to see when H1Z1 is coming out. Well still no new news but as development continues, we try to keep our members informed. Recently on other sites Sony announced H1Z1 will be heading to PlayStation 4, but that left the door open for everyone to ask, PC or PS4 first? Well I can answer this question as SOE’s president John Smedly went on to tell GameZone
“It’s PC first, only because we haven’t started on the PS4 version,” Smedley told GameZone. “The PlanetSide 2 engine, the version of Forgelight, and H1Z1 are identical. So the reason we’re waiting is that H1Z1 – 80 percent of the works is going to be done by launching PlanetSide 2 because all of the PlayStation 4 specific stuff will have been taken care of with the engine. Porting H1Z1 over after that will take a few months.”
What else has been happening with H1Z1, well to me its stating to really look like a cross hybrid of DayZ and RUST. Can anyone say AIR DROP !!!!!!!
